      <description>&lt;P&gt;Had a vacation planned for April 2020.&amp;nbsp; Thanks to Covid that didn't happen.&amp;nbsp; Tried to rebook vacation, but had to cancel rebooking due to second wave and lockdown.&amp;nbsp; Trying to rebook vacation for October 2021 and now I only have $50 in travel funds.&amp;nbsp; All other credits have expired.&amp;nbsp; I have not used any of the original $460.&amp;nbsp; I am just trying to book a flight.&amp;nbsp; My friends have already rebooked through United with no issues.&amp;nbsp; Southwest said we would have until September 2021 to use the money from cancelled flights.&amp;nbsp; Please someone help I am beyond frustrated and upset.&amp;nbsp; I booked with Southwest because they advertise that they care about customer service and it seems like all my friends that booked on Spirit/United are getting much better customer service.&amp;nbsp; Please help I am just trying not to lose this $410 its a lot of money.&amp;nbsp; Can anyone help me book this flight?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone that reads this if you see no responses and just excuses it tells you everything you need to know about Southwest.&amp;nbsp; $460 spent and no flight so far...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We had a trip from Chicago midway to cancun coming up in 2 months. While looking at my southwest account yesterday I was surprised to find our reservation had been cancelled without notice. After reading similar stories on here I guess that happens continues sometimes. Here's my main issue: after taking to southwest then can get us there as planned but can only fly us back either the day before or the day after we were originally booked for. Obviously on top of the whole situation being extremely frustrating, this creates an issue with the hotel. Either I lose 1.5/2 days in cancun or I have to try to get an extra night and then have to pay for that. My spouse has been talking to the airline. Spouse said they've actually been rude, said the best they can do is fly us another day, won't offer anything to make up for it, and even threatened to cancel the entire trip if we didn't drop the issue. The original day of our return still has flights listed but they all day "unavailable", not "sold out". Any advice is appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Southwest taking $190 out of $460 for a rebooking due to COVID.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I originally had a flight booked for April 2020, and cancelled it due to covid.&amp;nbsp; Rebooked a vacation for October 2020, but cancelled that because COVID was still causing travel restrictions and my state was heading into a new lockdown.&amp;nbsp; I am trying to book a flight for October 2021 and it turns out all my travel funds are down to $270?&amp;nbsp; I booked with Southwest because they claim no fees and say they give great customer service.&amp;nbsp; This is awful.&amp;nbsp; One of my good friends did the exact same thing with cancellations and rebookings through United and was able to use all of his funds for this same trip in October 2021.&amp;nbsp; I had to call customer service 3 different times killing 2 hours of my afternoon to even get this response.&amp;nbsp; If Southwest has no interest in helping me I really think I should just use United and never book with them again.&amp;nbsp; Anyone that has had a similar experience please comment below and save other people from being ripped off in this manner.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Southwest if you would like to help please reply but at this point I am beyond frustrated and upset that you think this is ok.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If the rates go down between now and then I can change our flights and I would still get the full credit of the difference on my account right?       <description>&lt;P&gt;This &lt;STRIKE&gt;is&lt;/STRIKE&gt; a message I sent SW:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wed 3-31-21 730 pm EST&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last night at around 8:30 pm I made my boyfriend a reservation to go from PBI to Islip on April 10 and returning on April 12.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I put the fee of 501.00 on MY southwest credit card. This morning he indicated that he chose the wrong weekend and could he change it to April 16 returning April 18.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It indicated that the second flight was $248 less than the first one and that it would not return to my credit card but be used as a travel fund.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It has not been 24 hours so I feel this is unfair. I spoke to customer relations at 4:35 pm EST and she told me that if I had “cancelled” that flight I would have gotten the refund but since I “Changed”it I would not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She said and I quote “ you had to learn the lesson the hard way”&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have searched and searched your fine print and absolutely nowhere does it say if you change your flight you won’t get the credit back on your card.&lt;BR /&gt;As I am typing this it’s STILL UNDER 24 HOURS SINCE MAKING THIS RESERVATION!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He has no plans to travel to use those funds and will probably be wasted money which no one can afford in this pandemic.&lt;BR /&gt;I beg you to put those travel funds back on my credit card as a credit. I’m am extremely upset with this situation. The average person could not possibly know that cancelling and changing a reservation are not the same since it was done under 24 hours. Your fine print does NOT have this information. Totally disgusted with Southwest.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Southwest Vacations booked my trip to Jamaica. &amp;nbsp;The representative did not put my name on the ticket as it appears on my passport. &amp;nbsp;She said that she would immediately send an email correcting my name. &amp;nbsp;EVERYBODY knows that the name has to match. &amp;nbsp;I have tried emailing SW Vacations. (No response after 5 days). &amp;nbsp;I called this morning at 8am when they open. &amp;nbsp;At first I was told it would be 14 min, then 28 min, then 60 min, then 81 min and that was all during the same call. &amp;nbsp;When I called back and selected make a new trip the rep answered in 5 min and she said she couldn’t help me and sent me back to customer service. &amp;nbsp;Then I selected call me back “in line” and was told it would take 89 minutes. &amp;nbsp;That was 3 hours ago. &amp;nbsp;I am so frustrated because I need to make sure that this change was done. &amp;nbsp;I called SW Airlines and was told that no email re: name change was received. &amp;nbsp;I even called SW Vacations parent corporation Apple Leisure Group and no answer their either. &amp;nbsp;SW Vacations used to be good, but I guess they have gone completely down. &amp;nbsp;This will be my LAST time using them. &amp;nbsp;I hope they call me back before my trip&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been on hold for 40 minutes.&amp;nbsp; Not as long as most, I get that.&amp;nbsp; My frustration is that my hold time estimate has gone from 77 minuets to 107 so far.&amp;nbsp; Increasing not decreasing?&amp;nbsp; On top of that 2 emails have gone unanswered by customer support, so obviously waiting on the line is the only option.&amp;nbsp; SWA is failing in this department. So disappointed.&amp;nbsp; I just need to find out where our vacation travel funds are.&amp;nbsp; They cancelled our trip due to covid last year, but the only thing we got refunded/travel credit for was the flight portion.&amp;nbsp; That is less than half the funds.&amp;nbsp; I just want to talk to someone!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had a departing flight from my city, to another state with a layover and plane change, and then i was to finally arrive at my destination.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;southwest now shows i am leaving the layover state, to my destination.....&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why would they just get rid of my departing state.... and try to have me board in a state i wouldnt even be able to get to?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when i go to change the flight "free of charge" it tells me non exist...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but if i want to go and rebook departing MY CITY to MY DESTINATION 3 flights come up for 2x the price i originally paid.....even my original flight is showing.... yet they are telling me mine that i had booked isnt?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;whats going on here.....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Southwest makes so many awesome promises. &amp;nbsp;As I am on hold they talk of being committed to their customers. &amp;nbsp;Well I booked a Vacation package 02/03/2021. &amp;nbsp;So Mi Beach hotel is going to be in renovations the days I booked. &amp;nbsp;Southwest sent me a notification via Email. &amp;nbsp;They offered me a place at &amp;nbsp;Paradisus Hotel which the beach is rock no sand and cost is, $700 more then my Me Beach. &amp;nbsp; But it is in San Jose, Los Cabos. &amp;nbsp;I waited 259 minutes before I was connected to a Southwest Agent only so that she could put me on hold AGAIN to see if they could get me a hotel on the beach in San Lucas. Well they wanted me to pay $700 more since I didn't want to accept the Paradisus Hotel. &amp;nbsp;How can Southwest even send me to a different city? &amp;nbsp; I want to be near my family. &amp;nbsp; I want a hotel in the same town I booked in!!! &amp;nbsp;now I'm on hold AGAIN! &amp;nbsp;The first agent hung up on me!!! &amp;nbsp;No Bueno! &amp;nbsp;I can't find a complaint phone# for Southwest. &amp;nbsp;I have been flying with Southwest since I was 13yrs old. &amp;nbsp; parents sent me to my Grandmother via Southwest and I'm in my 50's today. &amp;nbsp; I'm pissed off!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Southwest has been making adjustments and moving / eliminating some flights in continued response to the pandemic and current travel needs. Over the past few days I got an e-mail notification that two of my flights were changed, but I checked all of them to be safe and noticed a 3rd flight was moved up an entire day &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt; I got no notification about that.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your flights changed and you got an email about it, you can change your flight to -any- other available flight 100% for free - and it doesn’t have to be the same day! So if you wanted to arrive a day earlier or later you can for example. You have to rebook within 3 days of receiving the email about the change.       <description>&lt;P&gt;My first experience flying SWA after more than a year was not good, but I decided to give it another try. My second experience was worse!! Gone are the boarding in groups of 10 to avoid crowding, gone is standing 6 ft away, gone is any suggestion of waiting to deplane until rows in front of you have cleared.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In fact SWA gate staff seemed to cherish the crowding and pushing at the gate by asking people to find their relative position within the groups of 30, ".... as we have always done..." in the immortal words of the SWA gate agent. Really? We are back to before pandemic, business as usual?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And of course wearing of face masks is kinda relaxed during deplaning. All other threatening words to the contrary, flight attendants do not enforce the masks especially with the chaos of everyone crowding in the aisle for deplaning.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cancelled my return flights on SWA, will take another airline that takes my health more seriously. I would really appreciate SWA refunding my tickets if they cannot meet CDC guidelines as I expected based on my first flight only 3 weeks ago.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Flight booked on Travel Funds Question</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So we booked a flight at the end of January using Travel Funds expiring 1/28 for a 1/27 flight.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A few days later in the app the red banner appeared saying we could change our flight up to 14 days into the future. So we made the change to February 10th, the change went through and we got to the confirmation page.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, no email confirmation of the change was sent.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A few days into February and the flight isn’t showing up in our itinerary anymore. I check the schedule and the booked flight is still there. No cancellation email received, nothing. So I use the Look Up Reservations feature which says “this reservation has been cancelled”.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So we suck it up and take the loss.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just want to get the community’s thoughts on this, since we did get to the confirmation page, no cancellation or change email was sent notifying us that it had been cancelled. On top of that the flight booked was still fully available.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Due to some health issues we won’t be able to travel by then.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’ve read there’s a way to “trade in” expired Travel Funds for a LUV Voucher (less $100 of the expired funds per person I believe). It’s about $240 in expiring funds each so $140 each is better than nothing. I wish I would’ve just made and cancelled a reservation before 9/7 though to get the 2022 expiration, but it happens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wanted to know how to go about the “trade in” process and if it’s easy or fairly difficult.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But we don't have arrangements for lodging, the car, where our car is parked in KC, our pet sitter and we are supposed to be back to work and son is supposed to be back in school.&amp;nbsp; There were flights available but those are full now. Who is going to pay for my additonal expenses so Southwest could save a few at my expense. Flight should not have been offered if it might not be full enough. I can't even call southwest from my cell in Mexico. I facebook messaged them and twitter messaged yesterday and no reply as of yet. We are Southwest members and I think they should have called us not texted with no way to respond. They offered rebook, but I had limited service and had to dig for password etc, because we are in Mexico, not home! So that window closed in minutes. There are other flights on other airlines. How about rebooking us on one of those. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I booked a trip through Southwest Vacations for myself and my daughter.&amp;nbsp; After booking, my husband and my daughter's friend decided they want to go.&amp;nbsp; I booked their tickets separately, but the return flight was not available that I previously booked,&amp;nbsp; so I had to book theirs for a flight that departs 2 hours later than ours. Would a ticket agent allow my husband and daughter to switch tickets? That way he can fly home with me and my daughter can fly home with her friend on the later flight. They have the same last name if that helps.&amp;nbsp; Just wondering if that is allowed if we do it the day we check-in for vacation to have them trade the returning flight ticket?&amp;nbsp;We leave in a month if that matters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for any help!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am a 25 year Rapid Rewards member and until recently have had nothing but good experiences with SW. That all changed with a recently planned mini family reunion in Maui. Since we booked our tickets in December and January, SW has moved us on to different flights four different times, even though the original flights were not changed and seats were still available on them. In one instance they put five members of the family, including a 2 year old and a 6 year old on a return flight that got into Oakland after 11 PM and then had a&amp;nbsp; 8 hour layover before a 7 AM departure the next morning. And we weren't even notified but found out purely by chance. Yesterday they moved two family members off of a flight they booked in January and then, apparently sold those seats for three times the points to someone else and I have the computer screen shots to prove it. There are two other similar examples including moving the 6 year old to a separate departing flight seven hours later, all by himself, while leaving four other family members on the original flight. I spoke with Corporate Customer Service and got a case number, but still have one unresolved issue. I see where a gentleman named James Ashworth is there VP of Customer Support and Services and was wondering if anyone had his email address or the email address of another senior member of the SW team that I could address my issues to or any other way to escalate this matter other than just emailing Customer Support (which I have already done). If so, does the travel credit expiration date change or stay the same?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Seems unfair that SouthWest would not offer you a different refund option or at least extend your travel credit's expiration date, but I have also read they are not very flexible with travel credit options.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Also the person that was suppose to go with me I have no dealings with and there are some legal issues that requires he stays away from me. I reached out to Southwest during this time and asked what would be my options. I was told that I would have to let the tickets expire and then call and request an extension for 6 months. After those six months have pasted then I could call and request to allow those tickets to be transferred into vouchers. Spoke with a Rep today by the name of Krista who did little to nothing to give me any information. She bluntly stated that "she could not speak upon what someone else have advised" and didn't even try to solve the issue.&amp;nbsp; I also explained to her that the tickets were purchased on my card, under my southwest account, and she still refused to help or offer any help.&amp;nbsp; In unprecedented times no one is willing trying to lose over 400 dollars. The lack of compassion, empathy, and understanding is something that I am very disappointed in SouthWest; given their entire brand is built on Servant leadership and customer service.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I haven't flown in over a year due to concerns about flight health and safety during the pandemic. This week I boarded a SWA flight at HOU going to TUL. To my disappointment, many passengers in the flight chose not to wear a mask or to wear it around their neck, especially&amp;nbsp; but not only during deplaning. Boarding was relatively well managed to keep 6 ft distance. Deplaning was chaos: everyone crowding in the aisle, and several passengers taking off their masks as explained above. This in full view of the SWA crew that did not intervene. I felt very unsafe under the circumstances. I guess your COVID protocol is only as good as the people enforcing it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did not see any wipes, any straws to drink water under my mask. Overall, much less impressive than advertised. To make matters worse my return flight is already anticipated to be more than 80% full which means middle seats will be occupied. Whatever happened to prudence, distance and other guidelines?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Due to the snow storm the flight was cancelled and automatically rebooked the next day.&amp;nbsp; Since I needed to get home that night I went ahead and rebooked with American.&amp;nbsp; I tried cancelling on the SWA website but it said I needed to call them.&amp;nbsp; So I called to cancel flight but they told me I was better off waiting to cancel until I got to Chicago in case the American flight didn't go out.&amp;nbsp; I did as advised and called as soon as I landed but the hold time was over 120 minutes.&amp;nbsp; The rebooked Southwest flight went out the next morning at 0500 central time so I wasn't able to cancel prior to the flight leaving.&amp;nbsp; I've tried calling several times since and every time the hold time is over 105 minutes.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I understand this is due to the weather issues and I'm not in a rush to resolve this but am I going to have any issues once I do finally get through to someone?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;First of all let, me say loud and clear that I am a &lt;STRONG&gt;HUGE fan of Southwest&lt;/STRONG&gt;! &amp;nbsp;However, I am disappointed with what has happened to me. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On 12/11/2020, I booked a one-way flight from Denver to Milwaukee using Rapid Reward Points for flight #2852 scheduled on 3/13/2021. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;On 1/27/2021 I received an email from Southwest that the flight number and timing had changed from what I originally had chosen. &amp;nbsp;The new travel times were fine with me. &amp;nbsp;I believe this change was made as a result of Southwest consolidating flights.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now on 2/4/2021 I received an email from Southwest saying that my itinerary was changed yet again, to the morning flight that same day. &amp;nbsp;That flight time doesn't meet my schedule needs. &amp;nbsp;I called Southwest today and was told that I was bumped as the flight was overbooked. &amp;nbsp;Given that I booked this flight &lt;U&gt;almost two months ago&lt;/U&gt;, I don't understand why I was chosen to be bumped. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you bumping me because I booked this flight with Rapid Rewards points? &amp;nbsp;It doesn't feel like the Rapid Rewards Program is being very loyal to me a dedicated customer (referred to as family on your site). &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I just found out that with the travel funds, you had until Sept of 2022 to use them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We love to travel but due to Covid could not do some trips.&amp;nbsp; I booked trips hoping I could go but Covid got worse and in Jan I got covid and had to cancel some trips.&amp;nbsp; When the funds where returned to my account.&amp;nbsp; They made them expire on the date I had rebooked.&amp;nbsp; So in this case instead of having until Sept of 2022 I now have to use or lose them by 11/15/2021.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This seems very unfair that SWA would not continue to keep the expiration date of Sept 2022.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If I had known that I would not have booked some of the flight.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This seems like bait and switch to me.&amp;nbsp; We are trying to travel under these hard times and the airlines turns around and penalizes us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Called customer (not so good) service and they said Sorry, you have 14 days to book a flight and we will honor your price. I looked at the&amp;nbsp;Southwest Airlines Customer Service Commitment and it says if a flight is cancelled they will book the next available flight, but now that the flight is close there isn't any available flights. Shouldn't Southwest be held a little accountable to someone with a reservation. What are my options? This trip was my kids Christmas Present in 2019. The price is the exact same on the confirmation, same dates, etc., but the hotel is only for 5 days of the 7 and the airfare is correct at the 7 days. Southwest is not correcting this issue with their system. What do I have to do to get this hotel put to 7 days as was quoted at the given price? Travel agent has called and talked to SW Customer Service and they are not correcting THEIR error. Is this what is expected from Southwest??? Due to Covid-19 restrictions in Pennsylvania, I am not able to travel and return back to work. After speaking with several Southwest representative, Mary being the last, I am told that their policy is 1 year to use the funds. Southwest has a lot more money than and do, and additional procedures should be implemented so that we, the customer are not penalized by not extending the travel dates beyond the 1-year period. They offered me a link to change to another flight if what they preselected didn't work for me (which it doesn't), with the catch that to prevent a change in fair I would only have three days to change the flight. I clicked the link, went through everything and picked another flight that was available. When I get to the last page it sends me an error message and doesn't complete my flight change. I have tried for 3 days now both on the website and the app and on my phone and desktop computer. I've called costumer service twice now and have sat on hold for longer than 2 hours each time with no end in sight. Does anyone know how to 1. get ahold of someone at Southwest customer service or 2. how to get past the error message.       <description>&lt;P&gt;There is no way to call Southwest from my iPhone. I’m near Cancun and needed to change a flight to avoid a 5 hour layover seeing many seats on other flights. Trying to make a change online threw an&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;UNKNOWN_ERROR Error 500621380&lt;/STRONG&gt;. &amp;nbsp;I try calling 01-800-083-1179, I google, Reddit, Trip Advisor, try the + the 00—nothing works. I try changing carriers from TELCEL to AT&amp;amp;T, Movistar, etc.: no service. I reach out to SW using Facebook Messenger with screenshots. They won’t do changes over chat, they can’t call me. They say try using non-mobile site. I sent another screenshot showing the error.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My only option is to digest the anger and post here to at least offer solidarity to the next fellow traveler or drive to Cancun in hopes of talking to someone at the counter.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why, why, &lt;EM&gt;why&lt;/EM&gt; can’t they have a direct non-800 number! That is ridiculous, no one should have to wait this long. There was a flight at 630 pm which was still available but I have been on hold for so long it is full now. I understand weather can cause cancellations but you need to hire more people to help with these types of issues. Or bring in more personnel when you know a weather event will be delaying flights to help your paying customers.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I suggest you modify the on-line booking program to allow searching from a departure city within a date range to all destinations serviced with the results showing a price range for all options.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example, I live in a city serviced by Southwest.&amp;nbsp; When I want to travel it is not always to a specific location.&amp;nbsp; I just "Wanna Get Away".&amp;nbsp; If I could search for all the routes from my city and know the price or price range up front for a specific date it would make it easier to plan based on price.&amp;nbsp; You could market as part of you "Wanna Get Away" campaign.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On another note, the on-line experience as is would be easier to navigate if the destination drop down only listed the routes from the departure city.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your consideration.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I was a huge fan of Southwest but my last two experiences have been less than and customer service is atrocious. &amp;nbsp;After my last experience where my flight Cancelled 20 min before check in &amp;nbsp;- &amp;nbsp;The only flight I could find was a flight where I had to change planes when I paid for a direct flight and since it was flying earlier it was two hours past check-in and I ended up in the worst boarding, so basically I’m paying the same price to fly earlier, change planes and bored late. &amp;nbsp;Thank you Southwest I will be choosing a different airline in the future&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I have $300 in vouchers and I haven’t been traveling due to Covid but would like to travel in the next few months. I would hate to see this $300 go to waste. I have seen others post that they booked a flight using their voucher, canceled the flight and the voucher was turned into travel funds. Others said that that was not the case. Initially I thought I would have had plenty of opportunities to use them. Then corona hit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Back in August I called southwest to see if I could let someone else use them as I was not in a position to travel (pandemic and all). The representative told me NO! I am so upset after now reading on this forum and elsewhere that I was misinformed by the representative.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After a bit of back and forth trying to figure out my options, the rep told me that I could request a one time extension on the voucher for 6 months and that it would be 6 months from when I requested it. He also said I had until 6 months after they expire to request the 6 month extension.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I started wondering if I should request the extension now as I was nervous about waiting until after they had expired, but I don't think I'll be in a position to travel in the next 6 months.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I'm wondering if what the rep told me was true, and that I can let these vouchers expire and then request an extension within 6 months effectively giving me almost a years extension.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or whether I would be better off combining them and buying a ticket for tomorrow (12/20) and then cancelling on the 21st (after 24 hours). If I cancelled would I get Travel Funds expiring 1 year from now, or would it be Travel Funds with the same expiration date of this year?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There's got to be a way to get a 2 month extension for the credit I got when we couldn't travel due to Covid.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a major vacation planned in 2022 that we are taking my kids on and that means we won't be able to travel until then due to saving the funds for that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I contact SW asking if I can pay a fee to extend this credit by only 2 months and I'm basically told there's nothing they can do...I'm willing to even pay a fee, like a $50 per ticket fee to extend that!!!! This is a MAJOR vacation we are planning, that won't be cheap and I can't travel until then. We also are trying to travel when it will feel safer for us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I feel that there being absolutely NO flexibility there, especially when a customer OFFERS to pay a fee for that extension, is a little asinine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
