A New Customer's First Flight

A few days ago we ran a post about a Customer taking her first flight at age 106, and this post looks at a first flight at the other age extreme.  Southwest Customer Ted Althoff sent us this note along with two pictures of a new Southwest Customer on his very first airplane trip:

Attached are two photos taken during a short layover in Oklahoma City on June 12. The flight left KC at 11:15 AM (Flight #221) en route to SA TX.

My wife was traveling with our five-month old to San Antonio to visit family and they were on the plane waiting for it to reload and decided to try to get a photo with the pilot while they waited.

As always your staff was very gracious, and your pilot was happy to accommodate.

Would be great to send this to him and please tell him thank you again for a GREAT picture of Landon on his first plane ride. (looks like a great magazine cover picture!!!!)

The one photo really shows how much your pilot cares about his passengers!! Truly a gentle caring man.

Thanks again and keep up the great work. I fly SWA nearly weekly for business. You are always my preferred service. Seems like you guys understand better than others that you only make money when your planes are in the air.

Most others seem to think just the opposite.

Thanks Again.
