Southwest Airlines traveled to New York City this week for an intimate performance featuring the multi-platinum rock band, The Fray.

In the heart of New York City’s Lower East Side, guests packed the Angel Orensanz Center for a special performance at one of New York’s oldest and most beautiful synagogues.

Throughout the show, the Denver-based band performed several crowd favorites (not to mention hit singles!), including “How to Save a Life,” “Over My Head,” and “You Found Me.”  They even treated us to some brand new material from their upcoming album Scars and Stories.

The evening ended on a high note with one of their new songs titled “Be Still”—a beautiful lullaby performed solo at the piano by lead singer Isaac Slade.

Rumor has it that this show marked the first time some of the new tunes were performed on stage…how cool is that?! Stay tuned to the Southwest Airlines Facebook page for a link to the Artists Den’s A Night in Pictures for more behind the scenes photos from this magnificent night.

If you enjoyed the performance of Be Still, I figured I'd pass along a link to a cover I recorded of it a few weeks back. It may be the best chance to listen to it until the album drops in February. Thanks for the nice article about the New York show! you can WATCH IT HERE: bit.ly/BeStillCover
