Well it's that time of the year, when we, as Professional Football fans, start planning our weekends according to the schedule of our favorite NFL team. I know when my favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, is scheduled to play, and anyone who's looking for me knows where to find me at kickoff.                                                                              If you are a real NFL football fan, these games will impact a part of your life for the entire season.  For instance, depending on whether your team won or lost the game on that particular Sunday will usually will determine what the first few days of the work week will be like for you. And if your favorite team played the Monday Night football game, those feelings will be magnified because it was a nationally televised game. Why do we do this to ourselves? Tell me who your favorite teams are and how their wins and loses affect you during the week and throughout the year.

GO SAINTS!!! After last season, I can finally cheer for my all-time favorite team and not be made fun of--my fingers and toes are crossed for a Black and Gold Superbowl in 2008! However, they played an exhibition Sunday night and lost, thus leaving me and all of my family and friends in New Orleans devastated and wondering what the boys in black and gold would do in their future games--we just know Sean Payton is holding back for the games that count. Gordon, I know you are still feeling the pain of the Cowboys' loss to the Saints last December. All I can say to that is...ha-ha 😉 Who Dat!

So, I was in PHL for the Phillies 10,000th loss game....You KNOW you're in Philadelphia and the fans start up the E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES EAGLES EAGLES chant by the 5th inning. Ah yes, to be a fan of all things PHL.... Except for the Sixers. I disowned them YEARS ago when I moved to PHX.... Jedi Blog Master

How can you even think about football when the great sports franchise of all time, the NEW YORK YANKEES is on the doorstep of another championship win?

Just wanted to ask if anyone at Southwest thinking of expanding service into Mexico, Carribbean and Central America? I fly around 65% of the time with Southwest and the remainder with Delta. I usually can get comparable fares with Delta most of the time and mainly fly them to participate in their skymiles program and use the miles for travel to the Carribbean or Mexico. I know that Sprit Airlines flies in the US and Mexico, Carribbean and Central America and they are where Southwest was around 15-20 years ago. If Southwest starting flying to Mexico, Carribbean and Central America; I"m sure that I would be a 100% customer. Any comments?

Paco! Where have you been? We missed you here! You had phx on a groundstop again with your SIXERS noise today! Hmm, I seem to remember the Tigers in the world series last year and their opponent was not the Yankees. Ding! boy Joe 😉

Now, if we were talking high school, my favorite would be Union Redskins! I attended Union for 12 years, graduating from there in 1995. I only went to one football game, though. As far as college, I graduated from East Central University; I didn't go to any football games.

My two favorite teams are the RAVENS and anyone who's playing Picksburgh. I welcome losses by the Redskins and Indy Irsays as well. I think Willis McGahee will be a solid addition to the running game, and Mark Clayton will keep getting better and better at wideout. It looks like the O-line is rounding into form as well. And hey, now that Southwest flies direct nonstop from BWI to PIT, how about flying all these dern Stiller fans from mid-Maryland back to Picksburgh where they belong? (Remember last year, folks: Ravens 58, Stillers 7.) As for how it's affected me, check out my blog at the link below for my comments on last season.

The last four years of my life seems to have revolved around football. My husband Mike is a HUGE Packer fan. I had not really understood the nature of his addiction until after football pre-season started the year wegot married. And then all of a sudden, I was drowning ina seaof statistics, schedules and NFL paraphanelia. We had college football, (Lobos, Badgers) NFL Football (Packers, 49ers) and ESPN 24 hours a day. I fell asleep at night listening to Sports Center and woke up quoting rushing yards and pass completion for the games played. Through self-preservation, I became a fan as well. Now we cheer for the Saints, (I watched an ESPN special on them in 2004 and decided maybe they could use my positive energy), theRavens, The Pack and theRaiders and anyone playing either Dallas or Washington. West Virginia, New Mexico, Wisconsin are the college teams.

You back to the topic, I like to be the first to say "You're free to fly to Cowboy road games on one Southwest reservation" thanks to last year's Wright Amendment changes.
