Have you ever dreamed of a career as a Flight Attendant at Southwest Airlines? Do you have a desire to deliver the Legendary Customer Service and Hospitality Southwest is known for while providing a safe travel experience? Creative announcements, constant smiles, and top-notch Customer Service skills are just a few traits that factor into being a Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant.

 

We’re looking for the best of the best! Apply by February 9 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.

 

To Apply

  • To create a profile and upload a resume, visit southwest.com/careers and then follow the steps below:
    • Click the yellow “Apply now” button, and then scroll down to the “Connect with us” through our Talent Communities section and select “Click here.”
    • Once there, enter an email address and click “Sign Up” (or create your profile using your Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn information).
    • Once on the “What are you interested in?” page, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click “Continue” to upload your resume.
    • Upload your resume and click “Upload.”
    • Information from your resume will automatically and conveniently be filled in for you, so you need to ensure all of the information is accurate.
    • Click “Submit Profile.”
    • A “Thank you for connecting with us!” message will appear on your screen, and you will receive an email confirming the submission.
  • Then, apply for the job under the profile you have created.

 

  • You should keep your resume formatting basic and refrain from including a photo, which can prevent the system from reading it.
  • If you have applied previously, you will need to reapply to be considered. If you have interviewed by phone or in-person and have not been selected for this position, you will need to wait one year from your interview date to be eligible to apply.


What Happens Next?

Upon successfully submitting interest, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not meet the requirements, you will be notified via email as well.

 

Qualified candidates will be contacted for a phone interview in the order their application was received. The length of this process will be determined by the volume of applicants who apply. We expect the phone interview process will continue through 2018, and ask for your patience as we give each candidate thoughtful consideration.

 

Successful phone interview applicants will be invited for a face-to-face interview.
