Liz_JasonMyers Hearing your favorite song come on the radio is a surefire way to start a great day—especially if it’s one you wrote. For Grammy Award–winning songwriter Liz Rose, this phenomenon happens nearly every day. As a cowriter on country hits such as “Girl Crush” by Little Big Town, “Crazy Girl” by the Eli Young Band, and “White Horse” by Taylor Swift, Liz has a number of chart-topping tunes under her belt. In addition to songwriting, Liz owns a lifestyle and home decor store named Castilleja, located in Nashville. She splits her time between there and Dallas. “I fly about once every two weeks, and I always make sure it’s on Southwest Airlines,” she says. “Everyone is so friendly.” Liz depends on the flexibility Southwest provides, which allows her to switch up her plans without additional fees. “I love the fact that I can change my plans on the day of my trip and still keep my travel funds for the future,” she says. Even in the trickiest of situations, Liz knows Southwest has her back with top-notch Customer Service. Five years ago, while on her way to Las Vegas for the American Country Music Awards and her own wedding, Liz ran into a bit of a snag: “Our flight was delayed due to weather, and we weren’t sure if we were going to make it on time.” Once the flight took off, the Crew’s Fun-LUVing Attitude was a welcome relief: “Everyone was so accommodating! The Flight Attendants even gave us Champagne to celebrate.” Thank you for your loyalty and for sharing your talent with the world, Liz. We are big fans of your music and even bigger fans of you!
