Our Chairman and CEO Gary Kelly sat down today with me to discuss his thoughts on our business during this unprecedented time; the work our Senior Leaders are doing to determine how to best navigate the impact of the pandemic; and the pending legislation to provide much-needed relief to our country and our industry.

The Chairman/CEO needs to use those federal funds to refund customers who had to cancel flights due to the coronavirus situation.  I have almost $3,000 in flight credits that should be refunded to me.  Southwest will NO LONGER be my preferred airline, if you don't change your policy and refund my money.

I too, have about $1200 in unused airline tickets. I bought the tickets in four different names so that my family could travel together. Now I find out that I cannot get refunds, only credits and they have to be used by the names on the tickets. After this pandemic, it will probably be several years before we can all get together (and afford) to go on vacation together. I realize this isn't Southwest Airline's fault but I feel like we should be refunded our money, or at least let me use the credits under whatever names that I can. None of us know what is going to become of the pandemic or how long travel restrictions will be in place. If Southwest expects government help during this crisis then I think it should be mandatory that they refund our money.
