Today there were over 200 photos entered into the twitter contest. People must have spend hours and hours making cardboard planes, dressing up, painting themselves, doing whatever it took for a creative photo. The contest ended at 5pm CST and at 5:26CST a winner was picked...one of the last people to tweet to contest...and I could think of 30 photos that were more creative and more southwest appeal. It is unfair and shows how you feel about your customers. In your rules stated above it sounds like there will be judging. You can not judge 200 photos in 26 minutes. Not to mention if things were judged - someone who made a card board 10 foot long plane, painted themselves like a blue man group who was a southwest baggage guy, or any of the other people who did arts and crafts for hours today would hands down score more points. There were also hundreds of collages...so what made the winners so unique - other then it was the last one tweeted. I think you owe it to your fans and followers for a FAIR judging. If you advertise it as one...you could at least keep your word. In no means do I think I should have won. But I know everyone who spent all day brainstorming and working hard on their submission is very upset by this. For the future if you are to lazy to "judge" a contest fairly - just say you will be picking a random winner - since that is what you ended up doing.
