Southwest Airlines anticipates operating a full schedule at Chicago-Midway International Airport (MDW) today, Monday, Sept. 29. Due to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) capabilities in managing this complex issue, we feel confident in producing a full schedule with minimal possible delays and cancellations.

Southwest Airlines operated more than half its schedule from Chicago-Midway International Airport (MDW) on Sunday, Sept. 28, proactively canceling 57 flights and working with affected Customers to minimize inconvenience.

We continue encourage Customers to visit southwest.com to check their flight status before departing for the airport. Customers holding reservations that include Chicago-Midway and/or Milwaukee through Wednesday, Oct. 1, have the option to adjust their travel through southwest.com or by calling1-800-I-FLY-SWA.

City-specific cancelation numbers can be calculated by visiting the websites of individual airports. We have City Fact Sheets that provide general information about our destinations served, number of daily flights, facilities, and employment numbers.
