Raise thte fare to whatever because I can guarantee to never fly SW ever again. In fact after April 2002 I decided to never fly again anywhere your airline goes even if it were for free. Because your airlines standards don't meet my standards. In fact your standards are about as good as a landfill. So my wish is to be placed on a ban list on every airline in the entire world. Yes please put my name as a person that feels all airlines are unworthy of my business and will forever be unworthy. So do wht ever with your airline including layoffs because it won't affect me in any way. Because I can guarantee that your airlines will neve see a penny from me and I do mean guarantee 1 trillion percent. Because I am so cheap that to spend my money going somewhere in the air is something I will never degrade myself to do.

A Rose by any other name would smell so sweet. Ah? Rose? I'm confused - your post references nothing, not quite sure where it came from. But - if you don't mind - I've got a few suggestions: Spell Checker - use it well, use it often. On Topic - stay there. Alcohol - drinking and posting don't mix.

ROSE, Don't be so mean.... I know you are cheap, but if you can get coffee from starbucks i am sure you can afford Southwest Airlines low prices. By the way Southwest has yet to lay off anyone... hope to see you in the air soon.. Francisco

Rose, Sounds to me like you might need a little luv!! You sound as though you are miserable and I surely wouldn't wish that on anyone.. My question would be, why would you come to an airline blog if you hate airlines?? Personally, if I disliked something as much as you dislike airlines, I think I would avoid the blogs.. I am sorry that you feel the way you do, it is a shame and I send good thoughts your way in hopes that maybe it will help you to realize that not all people are bad and/or angry.. You are, as all of us, entitled to your opinions and I will respect that.. Although you seem so angry and that to me is a sad thing..

Rose, It sounds as if something must have happened around April of 2002 that was a really unpleasant experience for you. That is certainly regrettable, but I am curious -- have you given anyone at Southwest the opportunity to address your concerns? If this event was something that involved Southwest, then it seems only reasonable that you make them aware of it and give them the chance to discuss it with you. Even if the experience is something that no one can "fix" to your satisfaction, I've never seen the value in judging an entire company or group of people based on the actions of a few or a single event. In my 30+ years of traveling, I've had problems at places that have traditionally been providers of great service, or at a location of a company that normally treats me quite well in other places. Usually, these are isolated incidents and don't reflect the true nature of what I can expect from them. Heck, I even had a surly and grouchy Southwest FA once! (I still think he was a spy from a rivaal aairline) Please don't give up on Southwest -- they truly are the BEST airline in the world and I've given them about 34 years to prove otherwise to me, but they haven't succeeded yet! Kim 🙂

Interestingly enough, I stopped by that hotel last week to take some pictures of its architecture and its beauty. I did not know that Colleen had preceded me there by a few days, but at least now I understand why the place seemed brighter and had a residual atmosphere of "LUV" still in the air! Blog Boy Junior 🙂

I am trying to find some information on a particular Southwest flight from Orlando to Louisville. Flight 1293 I have people on that flight and do not have any idea when to try to pick them up or if the flight will beat the bad weather in to Louisville. Could some one please email me information on where I would go on the internet to get information. Thank yuou

Although Lloyd's post is "off-topic," I went ahead and posted it so I could provide the information to others. On the home page of southwest.com is a "Check Your Flight Status" link on the right side of the page. This will provide you with the most up-to-date information that we have. Also, when widespread bad weather threatens part of our system, we will put up a "Travel Alert" which is at the top of the page. Blog Boy

Did anyone see Colleen's speech in San Antonio at the St. Mary's University Forum?

How do I update my DING registration with my rapid rewards number? When I click the "update registration" link on my ding window, it just takes me to a place where I can update my airport options, but I don't see a place to enter my RR number. Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

Brian, I guess you are the true blog boy.. Way to help out a customer. If you are an angry customer please do not be a popinjay when you are blogging. It offends me.. Southwest has gone above and beyond their call of duty for me and Colleen's speech truly reflects that.. No company is perfect,.

Rose, Southwest really is the best airline! It's my favorite one out of all the airlines I fly; I still want to try again to work for this wonderful, fun, & LUVing company in the future! 🙂

Jim, you have me cracking up over here! I gave up drinking and posting on the internet at the same time at one point of time in my life. Sober posting is WAY better for relaying your point but drunk posting can....be.....uhhhh....not so good.

Glad I could make you chuckle Francisco. I'm amazed by some people's thought process. How did Lloyd find BlogSouthwest.com before he found the "check Your Flight Status" button on the home page of Southwest.com? Why does Stephen post his RR/Ding query in a topic about a speech Colleen gave in El Paso? (For that matter, why am I posting in this topic? Because I'm referencing all the other off-topic posts - since they were placed here, it is the most logical place for me to post.) And to answer Stephen's question, uninstall Ding, then when you reinstall, scroll down during set up (it is not intuitive) and you can enter your RR number. And of course, Rose's post is in a category of its own, I can't believe she used her full name. By now she might have sobered up - I wonder if she will have any follow up?

Stephen, Scroll past the airport selection in the "Update Registration" section. If the option to add a Rapid Rewards account number to DING! is not available when you accesses Ã

Rose, What is your alcoholic beverage of choice while you are blogging? At least you are blogging and not driving. Kudos to you for that.

Maybe Rose's post is not some drunken rant but an encrypted message. So lets get out our pencils and save the world from Rose I Price.

I agree with the last comment - "Yes ... Having service to Greenville/Spartanburg, SC would be great !!!" ... but, can't find any information re: this in the article. Is SW considering GSP? If so, when might flights start? I fly to ATL often and currently B'ham is the closest - I think SW needs another city in that area to compete with Airtran.

SWA should definitely look at GSP (Greenville/Spartanburg SC)! GSP needs someone to come in and bring some competition and excitement. I would rather fly in and out of GSP than fight my way to CLT (Charlotte Douglas). It would definitely be a welcomed edition for the local economy and airport.
