I am a frequent traveler and an A-List Preferred Member with Southwest, as well as the Director of Training for a national company. My work takes me everywhere, and I always fly Southwest.
I’ve flown a lot before, but this past week was a first for me—traveling to five states in five days! It was a week with an unusual amount of business meetings in different states. While I was looking at the Southwest App on my phone, I realized that my business travel was going to take me to five states in five days. So I created the hashtag #fivestatesinfivedays and decided I was going to post a picture of me wearing a hat from each of my destinations!
I started with a two-day meeting in Dallas and then a morning meeting in Baltimore. I then drove to Pennsylvania to my Company’s corporate office for another meeting before flying out of Philadelphia. After so much travel for work, I figured I needed a break and decided to add on to the trip and fly to Las Vegas to meet up with my husband for a much deserved night of fun. Finally, I ended my week of continual travel by coming home to California on Saturday!
I even got to fly on one of Southwest’s new planes. I am a Training Director for my Company, and we sell workplace designs for B2B, so I notice the type of small, but important, details that have been improved on in these new planes. I was definitely wowed by how much brighter the new design is. When I sat down, I realized the seat back pockets are very different and there’s a lot more leg room. I could feel the difference.
I want to thank Southwest for getting me to my destinations and back home with absolutely no delays! I know delays happen, and I was expecting some with all these flights so close together, but that didn’t happen! Thanks, Southwest, for helping me do #fivestatesinfivedays!
