kidds kids logoKidd’s Kids has been one of the biggest loves of my family for my whole life and a real passion for me personally.  It not only owned a huge piece of my Dad’s heart, but it also has a place in the hearts of those who support it and, most of all, in those whose lives  have been touched. This year, I am thrilled to be a part of this bittersweet moment.  Although Dad won’t be joining us this year, I believe he will be there.  It is a privilege for me to represent him and my family by helping other families have an experience of a lifetime. Family is important to me, and the Kidd’s Kids family is extensive…  HUGE!  It not only includes the families of some incredible kids, but it also includes an On-Air family, a support staff family, and a family of dedicated volunteers and committed sponsors. We could not even get off the ground, literally, without Southwest Airlines.  As we take off to the Happiest Place on Earth, we know that the Southwest Family (volunteers…even the flight crew!) is with us the whole way.  This says more to me than I can ever express. So here we go…thanks to you, my extended family, we are putting smiles on some special kids’ faces as well as their moms, dads, sisters, and brothers. I like to believe that each one of you who made this happen will be with us … and so is Dad. Keep Looking Up… kidds kidds Kidd’s Kids is a nationally recognized charity started by local Dallas Radio DJ Kidd Kraddick. Each year, Kidd’s Kids offers an all-expense paid trip to terminally ill children and their families to Disney World. This is the first year the trip will take place after the founder’s passing, and Southwest is proud to carry on his legacy. For the seventh consecutive year, Southwest will donate a decaled plane and the Flight Crews will volunteer their time to provide complimentary roundtrip air service between Dallas and Orlando. Thanks to Southwest’s fuel provider, Vitol, for donating fuel for the return trip home!
