“It’s easy to give 110 percent because I’m working for one of the best companies in the world.” Josephine Francois Bandy, Flight Attendant

It’s about being kind, giving back, and providing Legendary Customer Service. For the past six years at Southwest Airlines, Josephine has done just that. Before moving to the U.S. in 2000, she was a flight attendant in Bahrain and Seychelles, the island off the coast of East Africa where she grew up. Although moving away was difficult, Southwest made her feel right at home. Josephine credits her Seychelles and Southwest Families for shaping her into who she is: a true Leader with a Servant’s Heart. She feels lucky to have found her home with Southwest, but we’re the lucky ones. We love having you in our Family, Josephine!

Southern Hospitality “My favorite U.S. city to travel to is San Antonio. I lived there for two years, and everyone was so kind. With warmhearted people and warm weather, it felt a lot like Seychelles.”

Island Life “Seychelles has the most beautiful beaches in the world, and the people are the most inviting and caring people you’ll ever meet. I’m so proud to call it my homeland.”

Fine Food “I love to cook, and my home is always open to those in need of friendship, a hug, or a simple meal—even a little meal can make a big difference.”
