Starting today, Southwest Airlines’ Customers can book our new International Connect Service to Mexico through southwest.com, and service will begin on December 1 to five Volaris Mexican destinations (Cancun, Guadalajara, Morelia, Toluca/Mexico City, and Zacatecas).  The new service will connect through Los Angeles International Airport, Oakland International Airport, and San Jose International Airport.

Flying with Volaris is quite the experience, offering Customers outstanding service, efficiency, reliability, safety, timeliness, and guarantees--all making travel  pleasant. We are also famous for our well-known promotions and fares, which makes Volaris a tempting travel option every time.

The best part of flying with Volaris is, besides our Client service, our interesting destinations such as Mérida where you can visit the famous pyramids at Chichén Itzá, which was chosen as one of the Seven World Wonders. If you like blue waters and warm sand then choose Cancún or Los Cabos, two of the most beautiful beaches of México where you can swim with dolphins, go whale-watching, and create fantastic memories that will last a lifetime.

But, if you’re a history buff and museums, culture, and ethnic food is your thing then you have to visit the traditional Mexican cities like Puebla, Zacatecas or Morelia.

Try something new with Volaris; you will experience our extraordinary Customer Service through our new International Connect service with our airline partner Southwest. We guarantee you that you won’t regret it.

are there plans for extending the service more towards the east coast, such that transfers in CA will not be necessary? maybe BWI->CUN? that would be fabulous!!

BWI to CUN is to be inherited through the Airtran merger, so stay tuned for that.

Thank you for taking the initiative to expand your service to Mexico destinations. We would love to see you also connect from Denver International Airport direct to the Volaris routes available and other Beach destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, etc. Denver is a strategic geographic center to bring a North South connection to the Americas and SWA can develop this market well.

You need to fly out of a city from Texas, there is a lot of potential on Texas Market, San Antonio has international travel capabilities. Let's it sucks to leave on the east and having to fly all the way to the west to fly south to Mexico. We need flights from the center of the US.

To Lori who posted on Saturday 11/13/10. You state that you are disapointed that SWA is choosing to code-share with Volaris because we have enough of Mexico here. Are you an idiot? Most illegal immigrants cross the border on foot, they dont fly. Mexico is a vibrant beautiful country with a growing middle class, wonderful culture, and great friendly people. Get real Lori and get your head out of the sand. Thank you Southwest for starting this important addition to your route map. I cant wait to experience Volaris.
