"David" is too simple. I think Herb's middle name should be "Determined", "Diligent", or "Dependable". His wife probably thinks his middle name is "Darling", "Dear", or "Dashing". The competitors think Herb's middle name is "Destructive", "Dastardly", or just "Disbelief". But "David" is kind of appropriate; remember who slayed the giant named Goliath.
