Is Chicago Midway incuded in the offer? I couldn't find it in the list of cities.

Of course, if you try to buy one of the sale fares you get an oops message that wants to sell you the seat for $80 more each way than it was before the sale. Not happy.

Pity you didn't actually prepare your website to take reservations at the advertised prices. When I click on an $80 fare, it tells me it couldn't give me that fare and offers a higher one ($109). When I go back to the fare page again, it's still purporting to offer the $80 fare. This is not a way to build customer loyalty.

What would be great to help the customers celebrate: 1) have a website which isn't slow; 2) make it easy to figure out how to use reward points--the info on the rewards page is useless. Unless of course, the objective is to minimize customers' use of reward points.

There are NO $120 fares from Dallas to Portland, OR the first 3 WEEKS of August. This promotion feels like bait and switch. Another new SW come-on. Herb, where are you? We need you back!

Unfortunately the website just can't handle the traffic! The IT department needs some major help as does the site. While I am at it, customer service really needs help as now you get a message stating 45 minute wait times for "preferred rapid reward members"....it is a joke!

I did manage to book some $80 fares between NYC and Chicago. The site was slow today and I see a lot of tweets to and from @SouthwestAir. It's too bad they had glitches on the very day they topped the customer satisfaction survey and rolled out the sale. 😞 I realize they can't go back to the days of Herb but I'm worried they are burning through some of their goodwill. Anyway, I'm happy I got through since that route has gotten a lot more expensive this year. It was like old times today.

The website has been not working all evening, and my user name and password are not accepted. Why announce a sale that we can't access. Not happy.

The site is MUCH faster today. Please remember whatever your system configuration is the next time you have a sale.

Interestly, I was able to get the $120 fare to Phoenix, but to return there was no sign of that fare on any day at any time. Another example of Southwest losing its lustre and credibility among previously loyal customers. What I want to know is...why is Southwest now trying to become more like the traditionally unsuccessful legacy carriers and abandon its successful strategy as the premier low-cost carrier? You are now in virtually every airport (higher cost ones included), now do more long-haul flying including destinations outside the continental 48 states (less efficient), made the Rapid Rewards program much less attractive and far more complex than in the past, and now have fares that are often no more attractive than the legacy carriers. I loved Southwest, and now you are just another airline. I can't figure out your management's strategy and positioning today...other than bags fly free and no exchange fees. That won't be enough.

Comment is a little late, but I wanted to give a big thanks for this offer. I was able to get the $40 rate from Oakland to Las Vegas. The departing flight was a non-stop, a little later than we would have liked, but the returning flight has one stop but no plane change. At this price I not complaining , just listing what I was able to get. It sounds like I was lucky I got in early. I am very happy I was able to take advantage of this offer. I love flying with Southwest. These special offers make it even better. Thanks Southwest!
