  Providing excellent service is part of Sacramento-based Customer Service Agent Michael Yu’s DNA. While working at a car dealership, he heard about the many opportunities at Southwest and decided that he would thrive in a career with the airline. Nine years later, Michael sees each day as an opportunity to improve. And from returning a Customer’s misplaced iPod to ensuring that Passengers always receive great service in a timely manner, he goes the extra mile. Michael, thank you for all that you do for Southwest and our Customers. Memorable Moment: “A Coworker and I traveled on Southwest’s inaugural flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The whole gate area was a party, but it didn’t stop there. When we got off the plane, we received a grand welcome from the locals.” Great Expectations: “I’m waiting for the announcement of Southwest’s next international destination. My goal is to be on all of the inaugural flights.” Insider Tip: “The city I visit most is San Diego. I always make sure to stop at Phil’s BBQ and my favorite beach, La Jolla.”
