Back in May, I wrote a short post about the battle to raise the Pilot retirement age to 65. That battle is over, and as of December 14, 65 is the new retirement age. For details, here is an article from the Chicago Tribune.
The person who thought of making familes with small children wait to board should retire.
I flew on SW so much for business that I have a companion card. This year is the last time I'll qualify for that.
Now waiting for some poor mom travling solo with kid(s) to find seat, put up her bag etc is stupid and annoying and has proved just too frustrating to deal with.
Let them grab their seat and then let the rest of us board. Sheesh how out of touch are you guys.
PS- How's the merger with United going? Oh whats that? Their not in charge of customer diservice. Could've fooled us.
