June is Pride Month, an observance and celebration of the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Queer/Questioning) community. We are honored to recognize the impact LGBTQ+ people have had in the world and uplift their voices.
This month Southwest Airlines continues to highlight LGBTQ+ Employees as they share their individual Pride stories, specifically the importance of Allyship. Being an Ally means starting with the basics of LUV, which is core to our Company Values and Culture at Southwest Airlines. Allyship means making genuine connections and not being afraid to speak up and show support. The core of Allyship starts with an open heart and an inclusive spirit.
