Is it just me or have Southwest's fares skyrocked to almost unreachable prices? I have traveled Southwest faithfully for 3 years and I cannot believe the prices of this year's holiday flights! $249 to fly from Nashville to Hartford? My first Christmas trip cost me between $78 & $94. The prices are so high and they are more strick about using your free tickets that I may not be able to travel to spend Christmas with family this year. That sucks and I am really upset!

Anonymous, those dates were correct. This is a post from 2009, and the fare sale ended on the date mentioned. (We archive all of our posts).
