'Skycap or Superhero'

Faster than speeding bag belt, more powerful than a Boeing 737, able to leap curbside counters in a single bound.  Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  No, it’s Angelo! Angelo 1 Southwest Customer Lata Kumar took to her Facebook page after witnessing what she calls a “superhero in action.”  Who was this man in blue?  Why, it was none other than DAL Skycap Angelo Ross Jones! Skycap or Superhero (Southwest Airlines) While standing in line at curbside checking I saw the superhero in action.  A woman with a baby in stroller was checking in when the stroller with a baby was about to topple. Before you could blink your eyes Angelo jumped over the baggage area and caught the stroller and saved the situation and the baby.  Kudos to Southwest for going above and beyond and a special pat on back to Angelo! Angelo 2 Way to go, Angelo!  Thanks for coming to the rescue!

Pilot Ryan Elofson is our hero! Yesterday our 24- year old daughter, Macy flew back to Ontario, California from our home near Dallas. She is in graduate school in California, and was returning from her Christmas break when she called us from a stranger's phone. "Mom," she began, "I lost my phone somewhere between my layover in Las Vegas and Ontario!". So we have been emailing her since then! As parents, it is nerve-racking to helplessly see your child in situations like this. We worry enough already about her safety and survival in a town 2000 miles away, without compounding the situation with the loss of her phone! Today Pilot Ryan Elofson called to say he had searched the plane's overhead bins, and discovered Macy's phone! He naturally called "Mom" (me). He is Fed-exing Macy's phone back to her, and said he didn't expect reimbursement, "since Southwest's primary focus should be customer service!" God bless Mr Olefson! And God bless Southwest!

My fiancé and I love Southwest! 3 years ago I was standing in the boarding line for a flight when I noticed a beautiful woman who seemed to be flying alone and I hoped that when I got on the plane no one would be sitting next to her! Lucky for me the seat next to her was open and we talked for the entire flight. I love getting to choose my own seat on Southwest. She and I corresponded online for a while after that, started dating long distance and moved in together a couple years later. Now today, a little more than 3 years from the day I met her on that airplane, I am booking our wedding in Las Vegas! We will be flying down there with the family on Southwest of course! We love Southwest! If it wasn't for you, we would have never been brought together! Thank you!

I would like to commend Amanda (220854) on her assistance with my credits from one flight to another. I feel that she went above and beyond her duty in helping me. I am very thankful that she is a Southwest employee. There should be many more like here. Again my many thanks to her for her outstanding help.
