Soar to the Magic - Disney

Not applicable

I’m going to Disney World!  Or shall I say, I’m going BACK to Disney World!  I can’t express how excited I am to head back to Disney this year to The Art of Animation resort.  Last year, our Disney friends shared their newest Star Tours adventure with us – it’s an intergalactic 3D adventure inspired by 'Star Wars' at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park - it was a magical, out of this world experience to say the least.

This May, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort opens, which will create the sensation of being a character inside some of the best-loved stories of all time. This whimsical new Resort hotel is divided into four immersive courtyard sections, each one inspired by one of four animated films:

  • Finding Nemo (May 31)
  • Cars (June 18)
  • The Lion King (August 10)
  • The Little Mermaid (September 15)

My son, Mitch, is a HUGE fan of Cars, and the thought of him being a character in his all-time favorite movie alongside Lightning McQueen and Mater would be equivalent to winning the Piston Cup! Take the easy road to victory lane by planning your Disney vacation at  While you’re there, enter for your chance to win a Magical Storybook Vacation.

Concerned about space for your own pit crew?  KA-CHOW! There will be no shortage of space in Radiator Springs for your family once the resort opens.  The first three phases will offer family suites that provide just the right amount of extra room many families need to spread out in comfort. We only need room for four, but the family suites will actually sleep up to six!
