Southwest Airlines® Announces New Vice President Operational Strategies and Performance

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has promoted Justin Jones to Vice President Operational Strategies and Performance. In this newly created role, Jones will work alongside a dynamic Team responsible for the operational performance and strategic planning of companywide initiatives that align and support the daily operation of the airline. Jones joined Southwest in 2001 as a Revenue Management and Pricing Analyst. He has held various positions in Interactive Marketing, Aircraft Operations, Operations Research, and Pricing & Planning throughout his tenure at Southwest. He will report directly to Mike Van de Ven. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Economics.
