Representatives from more than 20 of the leading airlines recently gathered in London for the annual SimpliFlying Awards for Excellence in Social Media.
In its sixth year, these are the longest running awards celebrating the achievements of top airlines in digital and social marketing.
A panel of six judges, made up of experts in the airline industry, review each airline’s commitment to and demonstration of innovativeness, engagement, and business impact to determine the winners for each category.
Out of the ten categories, Southwest stole the show by winning in three categories. Southwest was recognized with these awards for excellence in social media:

Best Airline in North America
Best Airline in Social Media
