At Southwest Airlines, we connect people to what’s important in their lives. For some Customers, that’s getting to a business meeting to close a deal, or it’s flying to spend quality time together with their loved ones, and for others—like musicians—that’s getting to their next gig to share their talents.

One musician’s journey we recently highlighted was in partnership with “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” We are proud to be the airline of choice for many creatives, but we are especially honored to support Artists On The Rise by giving them a lift in their careers and supporting them as they reach their dreams.

On the Nov. 10 episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show ,” we teamed up with “The Jennifer Hudson Show” to highlight up-and-coming artist Gabby Samone from Baltimore, Maryland. The youngest of eight, Gabby grew up singing in the church — just like Jennifer. Now, she’s recording music for her debut project and flew from Baltimore to meet Jennifer on the Warner Bros. lot

After Gabby dazzled the audience with an impressive performance, Jennifer interviewed the budding artist and learned more about her aspirations. To continue to support her as she rises to new heights, we surprised Gabby with ten round-trip flights on Southwest.

This partnership with “The Jennifer Hudson Show” underscored how both Jennifer and Southwest aim to give up-and-coming artists the platform they need to lift their careers. To learn more about our support of creatives, go to Southwest.fm.

Southwest Customers, including Artists On The Rise, travel for so many meaningful moments, and we’re honored to play a small role in their journeys.
