Southwest Airlines participated in the NBC show School Pride to support communities coming together to renovate their aging and broken public schools. While transforming the school, the community also restores its sense of value and school pride. Southwest Airlines provided airline tickets for the production crew to travel to different schools to assist students in these renovations.
Beyond airline tickets, our Employees lent their Servant’s Hearts to the cause and donated their time to help students paint a Los Angeles middle school. More than 25 Employees from Burbank and Los Angeles came out for a day of volunteering and FUN! The cameras followed students, teachers, parents, and our volunteers as they rolled up their sleeves to rebuild to Hollenbeck Middle School.
