Hi everyone,
I have 5 more flights to go within roughly a two month period to get A list for 2023. Currently an A-list passenger, does adding another passenger(my friend) count as 4 flights for a round trip ticket?

I believe that the A-list surrounds the individual who's account acquires the tickets.
You will be able to board after two dozen or so pre-boarding passengers.

You only get credit for segments you personally fly. Paying for someone else or having someone else travel with you does not affect your segment count. It would get the friend a segment or two if they flew with you.

You could get creative and turn a 2 segment trip into a 4 segment trip. How?
Well, instead of flying MDW/ DEN and DEN/MDW for example you could buy two multi city trips: MDW/MCI/DEN and DEN/MCI/MDW . That earns you 4 segments.
To start, look at where you are flying and which flights involve connections. Then build a multi city trip between those three cities.
