I have a valid state driver's license, however it it not one of the new ones which have the hologram on it. I have not traveled by air in several years. Is my "old" but still legal license valid for air travel in the US?

This is what it says on the TSA website.
Yes. TSA will continue to accept valid driver’s licenses and identification cards issued by all states until January 22, 2018.

Hi @quiltingchick,
Welcome to the Southwest Airlines Community! Here is a list of acceptable forms of identification, provided by the Transportation Security Administration. You will also find a link to FAQs at the bottom of the page, which I encourage you to check out!
