Are Non Passenger Escort Passes Still Available?

Tallpoppy

We have a disabled family member who is eager to travel again.

Pre-Covid, we were able to obtain a Non Passenger Escort Pass and help him to pass through security and arrive at the gate, repeating the process to meet him at the gate upon return.

I would like confirmation from Southwest that we may still follow this procedure for an upcoming trip.

Since this is a customer forum, you are unlikely to get a confirmation from Southwest here.

You probably would by contacting customer relations

I personally have heard nothing about them being discontinued.

Okay, thanks everybody.

I just joined this forum and am still learning my way around.

Escorts are still mentioned on southwest.com and there's no reason to think they are no longer available.  If you want some sort of "official" confirmation this isn't the place you'll get it.

Remember the days when security wasn't a thing and you could just go to the airport, get your paper ticket, and head straight to your gate? And once you deplaned your family/friends/etc. could be right there waiting for you?

Ah ... the good ol' days.
