Why would a gate agent insist that I have a paper pass for each of my children yesterday at LAS? I had multiple electronic boarding passes. I could have handed my phone to each of my family members. Instead, I was forced to go to the counter, obtain a paper pass for the rest of my family and then board last. My children were not ready to be separated. It this the new Southwest? I have never faced this absurd requirement with any airline including SWA.

Sounds like you ran into someone with incorrect information.
You can submit your feedback directly to Southwest, use the contact us link at the bottom of this page and send a message.
