Check in all people on itinerary at once?

I have read that you can check in everyone that you have on your flight itinerary (purchased all flights together). However, on the mobil app when I click check in it only shows my name and not others that I purchased flights for. Will this feature check everyone in??

If everyone is on the same confirmation number it would check all of you in. Keep in mind if there is a companion reservation that is a separate confirmation number which means a separate check in. 

When you look up your reservation on the app/website it would show you all the names on that confirmation number. 

Keep in mind some reservations are not eligible for online check in (group reservations of 10 or more people)
