Hello. My husband and I are both Companion Pass holders and A-List Preferred and A-List member, respectively. Although we booked months in advance (no EBCI, last minute changes, or enhanced fares/upgrades), on our 12/27 flight from ATL-BWI, my companion pass holder did not receive sequential boarding. I was A-20 and she was B-37. However, my husband and his companion were A-17 and A-18 (our 6 and 8 year old daughters are our companion).
We've received sequential boarding positions since they announced the change. Just wondering if anyone else ever experienced this or has any insight. I'm hoping it's an anomaly given the current scheduling issues. Our flight was delayed several hours and may have resulted in a plane change. Thanks for any feedback.

I would chalk it up to an issue with the chaos and not something to expect during normal operations.
