Early BIrd customer just got A-list status - what will my boarding be?

So, I have a ticket I purchased months ago with Early Bird Check In.  I have since became A-list (yay).  This will be my first trip with that status.   Will my boarding position be improved now due to A-List, or does it stick to the original EBCI?   Hoping it gets improved!  Please reply... Thanks in advance.

Contact Southwest and request a refund for EBCI.  Your A-List status gets you a boarding position assigned before EBCI.  I'm not saying you will get a refund, but you should ask for one.

If I do NOTHING what will happen?  Will I have better boarding due to recently getting A-list?

Yes, which is why you should request a refund for Early Bird.

Congrats and welcome to the club -- yes, your A List should supersede the EBCI.

Enjoy!

While in normal situations EB is non refundable when I earned A List years a go for the first time they issued me a LUV voucher for the value of the EB so you could request that if they can't refund the fee to the card.

Doesn’t matter since 30 preboarders will board before you anyway
