Flying with allergies

Abkolano

I am Traveling with my 2 year old tomorrow morning. She has had a bad spout of allergies that has given her a consistent cough and runny eyes. No fever. And I have A negative covid test to prove that it is not that. I am Just beyond nervous someone will give us a hard time if they hear her coughing. Does anyone have any experience with this?

You may get a few dirty looks, but I think that was the case even before covid.  Anyone 2 years of age and older must wear a mask on the flight so that should help.  Good luck.

Thank you! Fingers crossed it goes smoothly. I was Nervous enough traveling with a 2 year old alone and this just added a whole other level onto my stress.

Yeah. If anyone with allergic rhinitis/conjunctivitis needed a certificate to fly, there would be much fewer people flying.
