I am traveling with my 4 month old baby. We will be checking a stroller/car seat combo with a car seat base at the gate. Will I need to separate and collapse my stroller at the gate in order to check it? Or can I keep it intact with all the components together?

Breaking it apart is best to ensure that it gets back to you in its respective, full, pieces.

If you have one of the blue bags or other "case" for it just throw the base in there too. But 100% collapsed as the others have said.
