Has anyone ever needed a seat extender

I did one time.  I had a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder and could not latch my seat belt because of it.  Having the extender made it easier because I could latch it in front of me, instead of to the opposite side of my body,  then pull it to tighten.  Now I just make sure I sit in an aisle seat on the other side of the plane so I can use my other arm to latch the seatbelt.

I use them several years ago. I actually ordered my own from Amazon. So, I did not have to rely on one being available. No shame. Even though I no longer need one, I feel that the newer planes should have long seatbelts. Its a sign of the times.
