I was TSA approved but my husband wasn't.

This is the 2nd time this has happened. Very frustrated to be separated like that.

This is the Southwest page about TSA Pre Check, it's not guaranteed to appear on your boarding pass:

Have you both signed up and been approved for PreCheck? You both have KTNs? If so, double check your KTN is accurately saved in your Rapid Rewards account and that when you make a reservation the name on the ticket matches exactly the name on your PreCheck account, including middle name.

Also, note that you can always go through the regular line together if you don't want to be separated.

My wife and I both paid for Precheck so both go to that line. However, I had a hip replacement and request a full-body scan. She goes through the regular scanning line. We are separated at that point, but meet up after security. Being separated is not a big deal for us as we know where to meet up.
