Love Field is Absolutely Packed

It's as packed as I've ever seen it. The TSA que is full. All TSA  scanners are operating (first time I've ever seen that)

There are no weather delays

It's not a Friday or Sunday

It's not a day bracketing a holiday.

I don't understand why.

When I got into MDW at 8 pm, it was packed, too. 

Just lots of people travelling, I guess.

I love MDW, and it is crazy to me leaving some of the other airports at 6-8 p.m. where I should turn the lights out as I board and then get to MDW and it's still packed at 10 p.m.

MDW, DAL, DEN all have been very busy on my recent travels. 

CVG was busy but the Southwest gates aren't as numerous. PIT was later in the evening so not a fair comparison. 

FLL was very busy. NAS was very busy.

ORD Terminal 5 gets hopping in the evening with the international flights that go back to Europe overnight.

If one is pre, then that is not a problem. If not pre, I would avoid it like the plague at this time of day.
