I have an LG G4 and cannot locate the Southwest app in Google Play. When I try to access it from the SW website, it says my device is incompatible. Any assistance outside of upgrading my phone is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to update the app, btw.

If your phone is incompatible then it may not show the app on the play store. You may need to upgrade the phone or you can always use mobile.southwest.com or the full website if you don’t want to upgrade the phone. Over time companies will stop supporting older devices because it gets costly to support all phone operating systems.

Thanks. Since this is the first phone I haven't dropped into a toilet or a cooler of beer, I plan to keep it for a while. The current app still works, but I'll move to the mobile site when necessary.
Thanks again,
JKM

I have an LG G5 and it's fine. SW's app doesn't work with some "older" operating systems. I'm sure that's what's happened to yours.
My time is coming as my phone is only a year younger than yours.
