No bag check in PHX before 5 AM?

Arrived at PHX for a 6:25 departure and discovered all bag check and custom service closed until 5.  It would have been helpful if this information was posted somewhere.

Technically they should have opened at 4:55am if the 6:25am flight was the first of the day.
