One stop plane change

Explorer C

We are traveling with 2 kids 5 & 7 Years old, when we check in and get passes do we get the same same boarding number for the plane change as the original boarding? We have always done no. Stop but this time there wasn’t a choice for that.

When you check in for your flight that has a change of planes you will get two sets of boarding passes and they will most likely not be the same numbers.  There are many variables that are in play.
