Pet Reservations Need to Be Easier

I love Southwest and I have been flying with my dog twice a year, every year for 7 years.  But trying to book her reservation is confusing.  I never know which option to press, and there is always a long wait time, etc.  I think it would be a great addition if it were possible to book her reservation online.  Or if that isn't possible, have it be an option on the phone.  Am I changing my reservation? Am I booking a reservation even though I don't pay for her until I get there?  It's just not very user friendly.
