Southwest Airlines Community

Pre-boarding

I believe this an issue that previous military members have approached, but Southwest absolutely needs to examine their policy in regards to allowing active duty USMC and US Navy to preboard.  Their policy is that the military members “must be in uniform”, to preboard, but for decades, our OPSEC prohibits us from doing so.  My service to the country does not change with the clothes that I am wearing, where I am going, or what I am doing.  This becomes especially clear when I am flying to a duty station that I am required to work at.  United Airlines and American Airlines have adjusted their policy years ago to reflect this uniform law, and we as a service community would appreciate the same.

Yeah I agree! I would suggest reaching out to southwest to let them especially if other airlines have changed their policies
