TPA to IND with layover in ATL

Hi everyone! It’s my first time flying and I’m kind of nervous 😟

I’m flying out tomorrow and I have a 55 minute plane change in ATL and then heading to IND. Will that be enough time to make it to the plane for IND? Also I already have a mobile boarding pass, but I want to print it instead, so how can I do that? Additionally, can my parent accompany me through security even if I don’t have a disability?

Hello. Congrats on taking your first flight! There's nothing to be nervous about. Flying is safer than driving to the airport. I'd suggest taking a window seat. Watching the world go by beneath you is fun.

Remember to check in to get your boarding spot. Yes, you can print your boarding pass at home, or at the airport via kiosk or a SW employee at the ticket counter.

Your parent can request an escort pass at the ticket counter (since you'll be there anyway, maybe that's where you can get your printed boarding pass)>

Have a fun flight!

I would add that connecting in Atlanta is SUPER EASY!  All of the SW gates are in the same concourse within a five minute walk of the rest.

ATL is actually one of my favorite airports to connect through with Southwest!  I, too, have a connection of 45 minutes next week.

Good luck, and happy flying.

Plus you have your choice of several ATL institutions Chick-fil-A or The Varsity there near the center of the concourse, and several decent options down to the end.
