Love TSA precheck- hate not getting it

Every time i fly on SWA i have TSA precheck-   Today no precheck and the TSA agent said it could happen more often.   Has anyone had this issue before?  How did you solve it?

Do you have a frequent traveler ID (and have it attached to rapid rewards account) or have you just been lucky? If you do, did you book through a service (like Concur) or did someone else book for you and forget to attach your rapid rewards ID? You can check to see by logging into your account and see if the flight shows in your history.

This was done to encourage flyers to subscribe to TSA Pre. I did, and on a busy Monday saves a lot of time at big city airports.

In Boston you could sign up while waiting for a flight.

I've had the same thing happen to me at some airports. I try now to make sure when I book a flight that the Pre-Check line will be open... most airports have posted times for it and the hours are not the same as the regular TSA lines. 

Hopefully, you'll get to use it more in the future. I know mine has been great (when I get to use it).
