An adult traveling with a child six years old or younger may board during Family Boarding, which occurs after the “A” group has boarded and before the “B” group begins boarding. If the child and the adult are both holding an “A” boarding pass, they should board in their assigned boarding position.
Check in in for your flight 24hr before your flight to secure your boarding position. Even if you get B 1-30. You should not have a problem finding 3 seats together, they most likely will be in the back of the plane.
Yes you you can bring food.

You can also pay for early check in so you will most likely be in the A boarding group.
