Wait time over 120 minutes to speak to rep- need to make pet reservation

I reviewed the SW pet policy in depth and it states very clearly that in order to bring a small pet on a flight, you must call the SW service desk to make the reservation. Yet, every time I call, the recording states that my wait to speak to someone in over 120 minutes long. I would be happy to make this reservation on the website, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Help please!

Unless you are flying in the next few days I would suggest you wait until your travel date is closer to call in.  Phones are flooded with people making changes to flights now, let that settle down then call in to complete this booking.

You could try reaching out to southwest on Twitter and see if they can add the pet for you. Another option is you could reach out to customer relations 855-234-4654 and maybe the hold time will be shorter (click the option for complaints even though its not a complaint your calling for)
