What does "Required information pending" mean?

I am able to check in for my flight along with my two kids, but I am not able to check in my husband. Under "Boarding Position" for him it says "Required information pending". Does anyone know what that means?

International flight? Is his passport information listed?

Yes it is international and all of his required info is added and marked as “complete”. Fingers crossed it’s not an issue.
