check-in question

My questions are for my sister.  Can I check-in for her on my phone since she doesn't have access to a computer at the time she needs, and then can she get her boarding pass printed at the curb luggage check?   What does she need at curbside as proof of purchase?  We are in different time zones and her flight is at 3:30, which is 12:30 my time.  Do I check in at 12:30, 24 hours in advance?  Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hi, @yenowoho. The short answer to all of that is yes. You can!

You can check her in on southwest.com or via the mobile site also. You will need her confirmation number and her name as it appears on the reservation.

Also, check in exactly 24 hours out, regardless of time zone. So you will need to do it at your local time of 12:30pm.

She can "check in" again when she is available to get her boarding pass, or you can save it and send it to her via mobile. Or, she can just get a printed boarding pass as you mentioned.

It will be a breeze. Hope she has a safe trip, and thanks for helping her out!
