Would it be worth it to get the early bird check in when I'm flying in September? Not sure if I'll remember to get up early or leave the beach in time to check in at 24 hours.

Hi @maryh1959,
The great benefit of EarlyBird is exactly that! You won't need to worry about getting up early or sacrificing precious moments on the beach. EarlyBird will automatically check you in and secure you a boarding position 36 hours before the flight, while everyone else makes the mad dash to check in at the 24-hour mark.
Get EarlyBird and enjoy the time you get back!

I added this to another similar post/thread.
Does the "purchase date" of the early check in affect the priority?
Another way...
Does it matter if I buy now for a September flight or 2 days before the flight?

Yes. Customers who have purchased Anytime Fares will receive priority over Customer’s who purchase Early Bird with other fare types. Boarding positions are assigned based on the time stamp of the EarlyBird Check-In purchase relative to passengers within the same fare class.
